Foodie Pen Pals is an awesome gift exchange program started by food blogger and Twitter friend Lindsay at theleangreenbean.com. Each month, participants send boxes of food lovers’ goodies to a random match made by Lindsay. This was my first month participating and it was an absolute blast. I could barely contain my excitement when FedEx rang my doorbell. It's really a food lovers dream.

Here are the treats that were mailed to me from Pittsburgh, PA by my match Jessica at myhealthypassion.com

(And be sure to take a peak at what I sent out this month http://bitinglife.com/2012/02/28/february-foodie-pen-pals/ )

Parmesan & Cracked Pepper bread dipping seasoning.

I mixed the seasoning with olive oil, garlic and fresh herbs and served it the DAY I got the box with my Valentines Day mussel feast.

White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Biscotti

from Pittsburgh favorite Enrico Biscotti Company

It's a good thing I took pictures right away, because this biscotti didn't live to see the next day. Side note: Jessica did a  GREAT packing job! This biscotti arrived unbroken and very fresh tasting.

Rasberry Habanero Jam made with all organic ingredients from a local Pittsburgh Farm.
It's not lost on me that the farm is located on Blueberry Lane... so cute.

Yummy assortment of chocolates from Mon Aimee chocolat shoppe in Pittsburgh.  Orange, Earl Grey and 80% cocoa to name a few.

Hiding in the back of the picture below is a Stuffed Pepper Soup Mix by Evelyn's Elegant Edibles. I really can't wait to make this.
